Q: What do I do if I have a technical problem?
A: Submit a SchoolDude work order if you have a technical problem (printer doesn't work, can't log on to your computer, computer error messages, etc.).  Your building technology liaison will be the first person to look at the problem.  If he/she can't fix the problem then they will assign the work order to the dictrict technology maintence specialist that is assigned to your building.  Below is a list of the building technology liaisons.
Caesar Rodney High School - R. Szvitich, T. Rudis
Fifer Middle School - L. Reeb
Postlethwait Middle School - K. Wisnewski
Air Base Middle School -  C. Kaczka
Allen Frear - J. Barrish
W. R. Brown - M. Moser
Charlton - J Hurlock
McIlvaine - D. Magnin
W. B. Simpson - C. Calhoun
Star Hill - B. Truitt
Stokes - S. Lambert
Welch - C Minto

PLEASE NOTE:
Work orders are prioritized based on criticality.   Rule of thumb if your computer is not totally down, allow at least a 2 to 3 days for a technician to get to your room.   We have 5 technicians servicing 14 buildings.

Please do not stop your building hardware technicians in the hallway to fix issues that have not been submitted through SchoolDude.  This delays the hardware technician from working on an already scheduled work orders and also puts them in a difficult situation of not wanting to say “no” to you.   Please try to be patient and wait your turn.

Remember the 3 P’s;  Prior, Proper, Planning, promotes proper performance.  Please submit the SchoolDude work order as soon as possible.  The technology department is here to help you!   However, we can’t help if we are unaware that there is a problem.  Let’s all work together and make this a positive experience for all.   (return to the top)

A: Contact Shari Galgano, shari.galgano@cr.k12.de.us, or Carrie Bush carolyn.bush@cr.k12.de.us, at 697-2173.  Some examples of ways in which we can assist you are:

Collaborative Projects ~ Expand the four walls of your classroom!  We can find a collaborative project that is just right for you and your class.

Microsoft Word ~ Learn how to better use this application. (Inserting tables, graphics, borders, find and replace).  Integrate Word into your curriculum.
Digital Imaging and Scanning ~ Learn how to use a digital camera and/or scanner.   Images can be imported into Word, PowerPoint, Websites and more.  Digital cameras are great for students to use for field trips, digital story telling, and more.
